Introducing Refill Pouches: a New Way to Protect Your Acre

Be the change you want to see in the world.

TODAY we launch our Cleanse+Conditioner refills, which are available for $22 each. They use 60% less plastic to produce and are 100% recyclable.

All around us, we see wildfires, no access to clean water, and rising global temperatures, which has compelled us to step back and re-evaluate our next steps going forward. We can’t bring you the hair mask or leave-in conditioner you’ve all been asking for without creating a better environmental solution first. Here at Act+Acre, we draw inspiration from a Native proverb that says, “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors. We borrow it from our children.”

Our priority is to create innovative and luxurious products that make a positive impact on you and our planet, and we hope to encourage brands and consumers alike to #CleanUpYourAct.

While our current formulas already take 90% less energy to produce than traditional methods, we’re excited to announce that today, September 19, 2020, in honor of International Coastal Clean-Up Day, we've launched our refill program that uses 60% less plastic than buying a new bottle each time. Now, you can enjoy our nutrient-rich formulas directly from the more environmentally-friendly refill pouches, or pour them into your existing Act+Acre bottles to maximize their two-year lifespan before being endlessly recycled.

What Else You Should Know

Price: at $22 per pouch (compared to $28 per bottle), you’ll save more than just plastic

How To: Finish using the existing product in your Act+Acre bottle, rinse it out, and let it dry. Open the refill pouch, point the nozzle inside the plastic bottle and empty the contents into your pre-loved Act+Acre bottle. Use it as usual and enjoy!

With our new system, you’ll be doing your part to save the Earth while also saving money; what’s not to like?
