Starting your morning off right will do wonders for your body. I love to have a big fruit smoothie or a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit sometime in the morning, before consuming any other meals. Fruit is incredibly easy to digest and feels so good for our digestive system. It is also packed full of antioxidants and nutrients to truly nourish us, giving us that radiant glow. This fruit bowl contains a variety of fruits, such as dragon fruit and mango- they can usually be found at any asian store near you. I also love to top my fruit bowls with some healthy fats such as cacao nibs and hemp seeds. Our hair and skin thrive off of these essential fats and they make our hair beautiful and thick! The combo of the fruit with the crunchy healthy fats is also incredibly delicious—kids love it too. Try this fruit bowl for yourself and feel how much your body loves it!
- Ingredients (Make 6-8 bites)
- 1 large grapefruit, skin cut off 1 dragonfruit
- 2 bananas
- 1 C fresh strawberries
- 1 C fresh blueberries
- 1 large mango, peeled
- 1/4 C hemp seeds
- 1/4 C cacao nibs
- + Juice of one lemon
- Sprinkle of bee pollen
- Fresh mint to garnish
- How To: Rinse and chop all of your fruit up into bite size pieces.Squeeze your lemon over the fruit. Top it with the hemp seeds, cacao nibs and bee pollen. Garnish with fresh mint and devour in the sunshine!
