This is my 2nd purchase of Scalp Detox. For reference, I’m 35 with thin and BABY fine hair that has natural wave to it & literally can never get enough moisture - my ends are always dry. I also have extremely sensitive skin, including my scalp. The past few years, my hair started thinning even more. I used silk pillowcases, stopped wearing my hair in tight styles, washing every other day - all the things you’re supposed to do. I was starting to get a widow’s peak & you could see scalp in some places - it was awful. I tried collagen & biotin, all the hair growth serums I could find in the store…nothing helped & many of them actually seemed to damage my hair or made it even more limp.

I saw an ad for this & figured I had nothing to lose. I used it once a week for about 3 months & immediately saw results. Not only was my scalp far less itchy, my hair was less oily at the roots. In 3-4 weeks, I started noticing tons of little baby hairs coming in at the thin spots & around my hairline. By the 3 month mark, my hair was growing like crazy & I had new hair growth that was already a couple of inches long - the appearance of the thinning had radically improved.

my wallet was not the only part of me that didn’t farewell in those strikes. My hair dried out using head and shoulders, so I returned to A+A Hair cleanse. I have a lot of hair, so it takes a lot of doing to work the viscous cleanse thru. But on the second wash—as recommended—my scalp feels refreshed. My hair is no longer spreading into the air looking for moisture. Thank you.

At the beginning I was having trouble making sure my hair got enough of the shampoo. I switched from a shampoo bar to Act + Acre and it was an adjustment. Once I found the right amount of shampoo to use I realized I really love it. I use a couple quarter/ nickel sized squirts and double cleanse. It leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped which is exactly what I want for a shampoo. I would definitely recommend and definitely give the shampoo an adjustment period!
