    Works!

I live in the Midwest of the U.S. and we have hard water. I was skeptical of this paste at first, but this absolutely works and it is not drying. I have fine, medium density. kinky-curly hair. I use this once every 6-8 weeks, the scalp detox oil, the salicylic acid scalp exfoliator over the summer, and the stem cell scalp serum. I've been using these products for about 5 years and I get consistent relief. But I wish they would make a more moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. A great protein hair gel would be nice, too. I've tried the original set and one for curls (I don't see the curls set anymore) and they are both drying. I'm going to try the stem cell conditioner next--the ingredients look promising.

The only thing that helps my hair in LA

Since I moved to LA, my hair has been suffering from the hard water here. Even though my hair is clean and doesn't feel oily, it looks like it. It becomes limp and straggly looking no matter how often I wash it. The only thing that has helped has been installing a shower head with a filter, using the Act+Acre hard water shampoo, and then using this clarifying treatment at least once a month (although it says once a week on the packet).

Leaves your scalp feeling very clean, little hard to use with long hair so make to pre section. Also, use a hair mask afterwards

    Fabulous for light blond hair!

This takes all the yucky orange out of my colored hair. Without leaving purple/blue on it. Wonderful!

    It works!

I have locs and have had build up in my hair for years that I could never get out. I discovered it's from the hard water in Southern California and started using Vitamin C crystals. I bought the cheapest ones I could find on Amazon and would mix it with water. The problem was the metallic smell was so strong and would linger for a day or two. Although this is more expensive, the smell is much more manageable, there's no guessing with the measurements, and it mixes up into a convenient lovely paste. I'm going to try mixing it with bottled water instead of tap to help with the smell as well, since it's from the metals in the tap water. This leaves my hair feeling soft and breaks down all the build up keeping my hair feeling light and healthy.
