Apply the Hard Water Treatment to wet hair, working it from the scalp through to the ends to ensure even coverage and effective buildup removal.

Why does the Hard Water Treatment have a metallic scent?

The treatment is formulated with active ingredients that with minerals and heavy metals present on the scalp + hair. During this process, the ingredients break down and remove these impurities, which can sometimes release a temporary metallic odor. This is a completely normal reaction and the smell should fade once the treatment is rinsed out.

Will the Restorative Hair Mask weigh down fine or thin hair?

No. While it is a deeply hydrating treatment, the mask rinses off easily, leaving all hair types silky soft without added weight.

How to use Act+Acre Reset + Repair Clarifying System:

Use Clarifying Treatment weekly before cleansing. Use Clarifying Shampoo + Hair Mask for each cleanse.

For Clarifying Hard Water Scalp Treatment:
Wet scalp and hair thoroughly. Mix powder with water to create a spreadable paste + massage into wet scalp and hair. Leave on for 3 minutes. Rinse + follow with a double cleanse.

For Clarifying Hard Water Shampoo:
Apply to wet hair. Start cleansing at the nape of the neck and work upward for a deeper cleanse. Cleanse twice for optimal results.

For Conditioning Hair Mask:
Massage evenly onto wet cleansed hair. Leave on for 2-5 minutes and rinse well. For deeper hydration, leave the mask on for 20 minutes and rinse.

Great shampoo, even without hard water
I have psoriatic arthritis. I’ve been in a massive 12 month flare up due to stress. My head has been one of the most stubborn areas to clear up. I changed my shampoo and conditioner, stopped using conditioner altogether. The first time I used the clarifying hard water shampoo, I noticed a difference on my neck and hairline. The clarifying hard water shampoo has never further irritated my skin. My hair looks great. The smell isn’t overpowering. The formula suds up, which I love. I wasn’t sure the shampoo would work for me because we use a showerhead filtration system and we don’t have hard water at the house. Ultimately, those factors didn’t affect my experience with the product. Will continue to buy the clarifying hard water shampoo as long as it agrees with my skin and hair.

The best mask ever!!! The restorative effects are instantaneous. My fine curly hair is grateful. The aroma is soothing and subtle, the texture distributes easily and doesn’t weigh my hair down. It’s a must have!

Cure for my frizzy curly hair - living in a hot & humid climate
This is one use!! Just one. I’m blown away by the moisture and my curls. I was getting yearly keratin treatments until I discovered how bad they were. My hair is normally so dry, brittle & frizzy it’s impossible. But after one time using my hair mask - I left it on for 40 minutes bc of how dry my hair was (+ the cleanse and conditioner) &this is what my hair looks like!! Haven’t seen it like this in years if ever. Definitely hooked and can’t wait to see how my hair transforms back to a healthy state. Thank you!!

So rich and yet so light
My long, fine hair is very easily weighed down by products, and at the same time it needs quite a bit TLC in the mask department. Enter this mask by Act+Acre, and all boxes are ticked. Adding the fact that it washes out so easily and smells divine, there really is nothing left to be desired for me!
