Are the Hair Cleanse + Conditioner safe for color and chemically treated hair?
Yes. Our products are made without harsh ingredients, including detergents and sulfates. They will not strip color from your hair or interfere with chemical treatments, such as keratin, brazilian blowouts, or straighteners.
Why do I need to mix the Hair Cleanse with water before applying?
The Hair Cleanse is a creamy, concentrated blend of nutrients. It needs to be activated by mixing water in your hands to create a silky lather before applying it to the scalp. The more you can work up a lather, the better it will cleanse.
What should I expect when transitioning to the silicone-free Hair Conditioner?
Many silicones are water insoluble, meaning it can take around 5-8 washes to remove the superficial layers. During this transition period, your hair might feel less “smooth” at first. This will subside as our plant oils penetrate the hair cuticle to restore intrinsic moisture without added weight or residue.
Silicones create the illusion of smoothness by forming a waterproof seal around the hair to block out humidity. These seals build upon each other with continued use, weighing the hair down and making it increasingly difficult to receive moisture, which leads to flat and brittle hair.
How To
Conditioner: Post-cleanse, gently squeeze excess water out of hair. Rub conditioner between hands and comb through hair with fingers. Leave for 5 minutes before rinsing.

The bottles are cute and small, although with enough product for a while. It was super hard to remove the seal, I had to punch it with tweezers in the end, but tbh I'd rather have trouble removing the seal than purchasing products without a seal anyways. Like what the instructions say, the first time you apply the wash it doesn't lather, but it does on the second. When you have a lot of hair like me, it is hard to apply product starting from the bottom following instructions, I did anyways and I'm pretty sure I was not able to get any wash on the middle back of my head. At first the conditioner didn't seem to be detangling that much but once I got through with wet brushing, my hair was completely detangled and hydrated for days - it never feels so healthy after any conditioner I have tried (Davines, Jessie's, Olaplex). I also used the towel to dry it, kept it on for a long while (over 30 minutes) and it worked great, although at first there was some lint (I didn't wash it prior to using). Overall happy with the purchase but I did feel product residue on my hair for the following days - which I find is an ok trade off for having hydrated and detangled curls for a couple days. The plastic bag is cute too and a nice thickness. Will keep it around for trips.

I’m obsessed with the shampoo and conditioner! I really massage the shampoo into my scalp, and let the conditioner sit for about 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. I use the towel afterwards - I don’t know how I lived without it! Keeps my hair out of the way without weighing it down

I've been struggling with itchiness on certain part of my scalp, and excessive hair shedding. Found this product through Melissa Wood and oh my it has changed my hair! I barely have itchiness (when I do, the scalp detox works wonder). And my hair is looking extra thick! Thank you so much and looking for more products in the future.
