Why doesn't the Balancing Shampoo foam?
The Balancing Shampoo is a creamy, concentrated blend of nutrients. It needs to be activated by mixing water in your hands to create a silky lather before applying it to the scalp. The more you can work up a lather, the better it will cleanse.
How often should I use the Balancing Shampoo??
Whatever feels right for you. Contrary to popular belief, it’s healthier to cleanse your scalp more often than not, but only if using gentle products that won't strip essential moisture, color, or chemical processing. Cleansing every 1-2 days is ideal for most hair types; however, our Balancing Shampoo was designed to suit any lifestyle and routine, so you can safely cleanse as often as you want or need.
On wet hair, apply 2 pumps of shampoo to the scalp, starting at the nape of the neck and working toward the hairline. Shampoo twice for optimal results. Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately.

I’m not sure why I’m not seeing this in more reviews but this combo with the conditioner makes my hair SO sticky. It’s like it doesn’t wash out completely no matter what I do, and I’ve tried sticking it out to see if maybe it’s an adjustment phase. Sadly I’ll have to find another duo.
